In-Between Space is a new in-progress project. I question the lived experience of the spaces we occupy on a regular basis. I explore the everyday space through long exposures. I capture faintly the presence of change and movement. I use pinhole cameras and 4x5 direct positive paper to capture the space over long exposures. The thirty-minute to three-hour long exposures allow the physical body to remain unseen, unless a person spends a significant amount of time in the space. When I spend time in the space with the camera a faint ghostly presence can be seen. I will display the original gelatin silver 4x5 prints in frames.
