Shellye Tow

Photographs in this series are direct positive gelatin silver prints. Because of the way they are created they cannot be reproduced. I use a pinhole camera and long exposures to capture traces of movement in a space. This results in unique affects in the photographs that cannot be reproduced. The in-progress series considers insignificant moments that cannot be reproduced and the movements that happen in a given moment that go unrecognized.
